Commissions and Special Requests
The Commission & Design Process
The best way to decide on a stained glass artist is to look at their work and see if their style, aesthetic and designs match what you're hoping to have produced. For this reason, I'd encourage you to first look at both the pieces that I have available here and work that I've made that I've posted on my Instagram page. While I'm happy to work with you to produce the stained glass art that you want, my skills and experience are strongest in certain styles. Basically, if you like the work that I've made, you'll likely be happy with what I design for you and if it's a style I've not worked in, the results might not be what you're hoping for! Once you've decided that you'd like me to work on a project for you (thanks!), we'll review the details of what you want to see in a design. I will then produce a full sized drawing. We will discuss glass color and texture options and come to an understanding of what you're looking for. If you're satisfied, I will send you an invoice and a request for a deposit (generally 50% of the total invoiced amount). At that point, changes to the design or material will incur additional charges. I will provide an estimated date of completion and arrange delivery or shipping.
